They were fast shipping it out for me but everything beyond that was complete garbage.
I RMA'd my screen and they received it May 14th; I asked for an update on what's going on and they've honest to God ignored almost all of my emails. I asked for a speedy turnaround as I had my car set up for the install and they, to this day, have yet to acknowledge what the hell is going on with my LCD.
EDIT: Also, I was not a creep who emailed them constantly. I waited a couple of weeks before asking what was going on and then waited a couple more weeks before I started to get annoyed.

oh dear, sounds poor.
following on from yr experience deathchill ive today received an email requesting my shipping address, which is confusingly (for them) identical to the address they have for both billing+shipping.

just 10 days from online order to delivery in the uk from gooddeals18 with box in box packaging and priority mail stamped all over it. imust say 10/10 on shipping myself...
now onto the good stuff, the manual is gibberish and im pretty much gonna have to fathom the setup for myself ... ive noticed that plugging the short vga socket directly into my laptop-out powers up the display through the post & bootscreen then vanishes upon the welcome to xp message & desktop - checking hardware devices its not showing. bugger. ill try it on my desktop & hopefully be able to identify the screen or laptop as the problem here. bit annoying tho.
the supplied vga/power lead wont power on the unit so im guessing ill be needing to get a full-pin vga extension & play with my settings... if anyone has been thru this with the 8" unit, tips n tricks welcome.
least its here - i always panic on using new online suppliers. paranoid i guess, hehe.

I damaged my touchscreen. I dropped a mount on it and it made a scratch mark on the screen. When I power up, the mouse is stuck on scratch. The screen display is good though only the touchscreen is messed up.
Is there a way to fix it?
What can I do to protect the screen? I noticed that touch screen in public kiosk are much more harder. It feels more like thick glass.

HELP! ive fried 2 power adaptors trying to power this thing - only success is when i power it directly from laptop to 1" vga connector (as pic hanging out of the bottom of the unit) - tho ive tried a full 15 pin vga m-f cable & the screen fails to power ;(

ive read-up & see pin 9 on the vga carries an optional 5v power but have no idea if this is failing across a standard 1.8m monitor cable.
