connecting xenarc power wire to molex

ok i read how to wire to a molex but i have a problem. im not sure which is power and ground. i bought this xenarc used and they only gave me one wire which looks like this after i remove the covering.

    left: black rubber covering
middle: white wire with silver strands coming out
right: silver strands sort of wrapped around the white wire.

im assuming the white is power and silver is ground. just want to make sure.

can you post pictures of how you connected it to your molex? which color molex does it go to?

I have a M2 ATX power supply as well.

i will when i get to it. im installing the OS right now. i'm going to solder the white wire to the red wire coming from the molex connector and the silver wire to the black wire from the molex connector.

The white power should go to the yellow (12v) wire on the molex connector. The red wire is only 5V

Correct. In case someone searches and does not already know the Black wires on the PC molex connectors are both ground (earth).
