just make sure you dont damage the ribbon connections, just take your time and dont force anything. I took mine apart and moulded it in no probs.. good luck :-)
So I believe im going to go ahead and order one of these but I have one nagging concern. It seems very likely that in order to do my install I will need to remove the housing that the LCD comes in. I realize this voids the warranty but are there any other problems/concerns I might encounter by doing this. This is my first Car PC (although I am a fairly tech handy person) and I might be getting a bit over my head here and it would suck to toss away $700 by making a stupid mistake.

Also remember that the TS panel for the trans is slighlty thicker that the non-trans TS so be sure not to over tighten the screws that hold the LCD panel. Other than that is just like a standard liliput.

the touchscreen floats above the panel by a couple of mm's, on mine it was all aligned up after by using little white doublesided pads. I just moulded in the front part, then rebuilt the screen back in and even screwed the back case on
