    Crazy Lilliputs !!

It seems that since I've got the new 703's I've had some real pain in the *** issues with the touch screen. It seems as if someone is pressing and messing around touching the screen and pressing on it.
It's weird because it starts off fine and then it goes crazy. I've tried reformatting and newest drivers and no problem.
I do several installs and I've never had any problems with the old 702's . Lilliput is not much help and this is only happening with the 703's.
This also happens only when there are 2 monitors, if I disable one the other one works fine.
I think I'm crazy buy I have proof. LOL.
    CHeck it on utube.

its probably that the two touch screens are interfering with each other, just unplug the usb cable from the second one and see what happens.

    no!

This is because the defectiv screen has a problem with the mounting face plate.

The face in plastic makes a pressure on the touch screen.

unmount the defective screen and try it without the front face plate. It should work again

First; Im a professional installer and I do alot of the same setups with town cars in NYC.
The problem is that I installed several of these in a bunch of cars that I did, this was the first time this happened to me and it happened with a batch of brand new 703's!
I first installed them with an XP image that I had and none of the monitors where working properly, they all had that "pressed" problem. So I played it safe and reformatted and didnt' install the touchkit drivers until I had plugged the USB on with the touch screen.
So, the issue was solved with 4 out of 5 cars, and then this one had the same reocurring issue. I swapped the monitor to play it safe and same issue.
At first I thought let me disconnect the keyboard (nothing), disable one touch screen then it works, as soon as I disable one touch screen the problem disappears.
So, Im convinced that I'm not crazy and have almost dealt with any issues. I suspect that this problem will be discovered later when more people do this kind of install.
The setup is this: 2 HR-703's, connected to one USB 1.1 hub, to one 10' USB extension, to a VIA with XPSP2. This is my usual install and rarely deviate to avoid issues.
ANY HELP??! SUGGESTIONS??!! I'd hate someone to go through this again.

Yes, I had those cars setup the same way, 2 headrests monitors.
all monitors are installed with a VGA splitter, 2 monitors to 1 USB hub to 1 USB 10' extension.
I had the latest drivers installed Win2000_XP_4.3.7.3321, and they were "clean" installed.
It's a mistery to me, I'd know that they aren't all defective since some performed well after the install. There's no GPS either in case someone thinks is the serial mouse issue.

too bad you couldn't have a good car next to the bad one, you could one by onecswap the pc, swap the hub, swap the cables, gotta be a process of elimination really & gotta be "something" causing it

Well, the cars had to go, they came to pick them up. I just delivered it with the touch screen disabled no more time to mess with it.
Before though, I did use a laptop to discover that it wasnt' the cables or monitors; that's when I concluded that it was the software, because it worked fine with the laptop.
SO that's when I decided to format and redo, the first 4 went well; but there's always that last one! Isnt there?!
So, by then I ran out of time and the cars left with the one touchscreen disabled.
I figured sooner or later Ill figure out what the issue was.

If you are certain that it is not the bezel pushing onto the touchscreen overlay, I suggest you to to use different drivers on each screen -- i.e. one screen to have the latest drivers, and the other one just one version before it.

    See if this helps.
