Any information on Dynamix 7" 708 Ultra-Bright LED Touch Screen Monitor?

    http://dynamixcomputers.com/dynamix_...uchscreen.html

Not too much more expensive than the lilliputs but outputs 500nits of brightness. Has a LED backlight and some other cool features listed in the description. You guys think that's worth a shot?

That looks like a sweet touchscreen. I specifically like the -20C to +70C operating temps quoted. I wonder how well it can be modified to fit in a double DIN. Also...I think with that monitor, you might need to build a 12v regulator circuit because its rated at exactly 12v.

I would totally trade my k301 motorized single DIN touchscreen if someone would give me that monitor (my monitor is worth more too)! Im serious...if anyone is looking for a single DIN motorized TS PM me.

Wonder if that's because of the LEDs? Since it's rated at exactly 12v does that mean I would safely work if I powered it with my Carnetix 1900?

Don't think it's comparable to the transflective screens because this one is just super bright whereas the transflective has some sort of coating on the screen that allows daylight visibility.

that really looks interesting, it's rated at 500 nits WITH the touchscreen, this should be a lot better than an average lilli/xenarc. wonder how it compares to the transflective, I'd think that the transflective looks better for sure in dirrect sunlight though, but wonder how much difference. if this uses a crappy touchscreen without an anti glare treatment it still might not be too great in the sun?

    Don't do it

'THis unit does not feature a "anti-glare coating" It does suffer greatly when hit with direct sunlight.

This monitor is a concept monitor developed by our company to increase general brightness of our current monitor without increasing power and heat."
