    Hacking LCD controller

    Pardon my ignorance, but I have irreparably damaged my 7" lcd screen.
    I have a spare 10" lcd (screen only). Is it possible to plug the 10" screen into the 7" controller and backlight boards. What issues should I look out for?

    Possibly.
    Look for same resolution, bit depth, interface. Potentially replace the backlight inverter to drive the new backlight.
    Old Systems retired due to new car
    New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.
