    Xenarc overlay "loose"?

I was running some tests on my Xenarc 700TSV, when I noticed the screen was loose.

I'm assuming the touchscreen is some sort of overlay that goes over the actual LCD, so to be more specific the overlay isn't very secure and shifts if I move it with my finger side to side or up and down, doing so reveals a checkered pattern at the edges.

Is this normal? Or does something need to be tightened or fixed?

    I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I have talked with my sales guy there and he tells me they had a few in mfg that did that. The front glass plate is not secured to the LCD itself, and if not secured properly will slide around. You can actually see the problem very clear if you open it up. I'm sure if you email them they will RMA it for you (before you open it!). Mine came brand new last week and had the same problem.

Thanks for the response, that sounds exactly like what I'm describing, I'll call them ASAP. Thanks!

If I remember right, the LCD overlay was just held on by two sided sticky tape to the outer housing. I can't remember right.
