I think i may have finnally found it! These guys have "sample priced" LCD kits for sale! Including ::GASP:: 700nitt sunlight readable TFT with touchscreen!!! I priced out an interesting looking 6.4" 640x480 lcd with touch and controller for $509... a VERY interesting alternative to the xenarc.

Has anyone seen this site before? Anyone dealt with them?

Hmm...dude I doubt you spec'd out a whole kit for that price. Those screens are actually pretty expensive. I bet you forgot to click on 'add to kit' where the TFT actually is. The controllers are around $179, the backlights are about $30, and the screens are like $300-$500. Not really much of a deal in my opinion, but nevertheless a place to get very very bright screens. The 700 nit 6.4" LCD costs $715.46 with the Inverter and controller. Maybe some of us can afford that

How did you go about ordering from them? When I e-mailed them they gave me crap about they only sell to commercial companies or something like that.

Should I just call the number posted above and say that I want a certain kit (product#) and give him my credit card #?

No, you have to make up some BS story about somthing that your company is making and you need to buy a sample asap. Have them send it COD.
Tell them just so long as the sample woks like it should, then you will have the appropriate department set up an account with them, but because your engineers need the display right away, you will pay COD for a sample.
