    Help! Lilliput Touchscreen stopped working!

Well, I've been without my CarPC for 1-2 months now because when I installed some new switches, it quit working. I fixed it and it was simply some loose connections. I powered it back up and everything worked great! A few minutes later, after I restarted it, the touchscreen stopped working. I can see still everything on the monitor, but the whenever I touch the screen, it moves the curser into the bottom right part of the screen.

I took my fingernail and ran it across the edges to check for dirt/objects and there were none. It won't let me calibrate it. Whenever I try to, it doesn't do anything. It does recognize the touchscreen though.

Anyone know what's wrong or what I can check? This is less than a year old . $1000 in CarPC parts sitting there with no use.

    Thank you, Daniel.

You will probably spend AT LEAST 2x what you initially budget for your CarPC Project!

I started it up this morning and this time it actually let me calibrate it. The calibration worked normally, but when it was done every time I tried to press something the curser disapeired. When I moved my mouse, the curser was in the top right corner.

I uninstalled the touchkit and drivers. I then installed the newest drivers/touchkit and it does the same exact thing. Whenever I try to calibrate it with the new touchkit though, it says The linearity is not correct. It then asks me if I want to recalibrate it. If I choose "Yes" it'll do the same thing. If I choose "No," it won't work at all until I calibrate it. It is going to the bottom left corner whenever I touch anywhere on the screen now.

Try loosening the case in that corner. IT's probably the edge of the bezel pressing against the touchscreen.
If that doesn't fix it, you may have a faulty touchscreen.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
