I dont see why not. ALthough after some more searching i still havnt found anyone with a decent group discount. I might just tell you who to call and the part numbers.... If you want I can put in for a big order and ship to you individually (i think that might be even more expensive.

Ok here's the deal. The only way we can really save any money is on shipping. Now reptron will charge 15.00 for standard shipping on any order. This means that if you want to order direct from them, you will have to pay 15.00 shipping. If we order as a group and I distribute the necessary pieces , we should hopefully be able to save a few bucks. The most we will save is about $10/person. Now I dont know this for sure, I am going to figure out how much it will cost to ship to US/Canada. If you are intrested in this appraoch let me know, other wise you can give reptron a call( I will post all the info in next post). As far as overall pricing is concerned, the USB kit will run you 120+shipping+tax and the Serial Kit will run you 115+shipping+tax. Again, post or PM me if you are intrested in doing this the group way.

I wasnt able to get any pricing, but they said that the 6.5 is only about 5% more. That means about $4.00 more for they overlay.

    Nice find

I have one of these screens as well (the DSCustoms one), and this sounds like a fantastic idea.

My only reservation is whether it's going to fit in the enclosure for the screen. I'm not to keen on buying one of these purely on spec. It's kind of pricey (especially in Australian dollars) to just hope it will all work out.

Perhaps Dave Shore could give us an indication of whether he thinks these are likely to fit...

    C!
