That graphics chipset is incapable of outputting the resolution you want.

i know, not another 800x480, but someone must have done this before,
i see theres a few guys with the c7 chipset who got it working with new bios settings?
im using the new Jetway J7F5M Mini ITX VIA C7 2.0GHz CPU,
- Embedded VIA UniChrome Pro II AGP Graphics
- MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and WMV9 Accelerator
- VIA CX700m chipset
from what i gather not many people have tihs board as yet? and there isnt many updates for bios, etc.. sooo, is there any way of using older drivers? etc? im stumped and really wanna run 800x480

Its got me stumped and im hating it, i also searched for SO LONG, trying to find software to force the screen res. but nothing.. not even powerstrip wouldnt lt me.

do you have v11 bios? On my previous jetway 1.5GHz Im configure 800x480 with this bios... contact Jetway support team for bios...
Will that bios work on this newer system?

Did you contact support team? I think all J7F5 board use same bios... Contact support team and they will help you...
