Character LCD Question
How do you cycle through your songs, and sellect a track to play on a character LCD display?
I know you must have your songs in playlist, and when your playlist is loaded you can simply press the >| (in winamp) to sellect the next track, but if I want multiple playlists, to better organize my songs, how would I sellect the different playlists?
And also, what are some of the best pre-made controllers? I know of IR Man and the remote from the same company, and the Packard Bell Fast Media Remote, are there any others?
And finally, is there any way to emulate some of the LCD software on my computer, so I can play arround with it, and see how it works befor I actually go get an LCD display?
I hope I explained myslef clearly enough!
Thanks

SEARCH!!
There are various winamp plugins that allow you to do all the things you listed.
The one I use is available here: http://www.markuszehnder.ch/projects/lcdplugin/
It has playlist selection as well as a way to preview the LCD output on your monitor before you buy the actual LCD. Very handy indeed when it comes to customising the output.
Hope that helps.

Go have a read through the General Software Discussion forum. Ive been reading all the posts going through there lately and it seems many people are opting to create their own interfaces due to lack of quality ones already available. So far from what I've seen, Arby seems to have created a very nice interface using winamp3. Check it out.
Use the search function at the top of the page to find information, much quicker than waiting for people to reply to your posts, and most people here get a tad bit angry at people who fail to use it.
The search function is a great resource, USE IT.
