I've gone from one bad video adapter for widescreen (intel 810) to another - sis 630/730 IGP. I finally got the intel to work but then I inherited a laptop which has a lot of advantages for me as a carputer compared to the desktop I was working with.

So has anyone hacked a driver for the sis 630/730 so it can output at 800x480? Searches say no, but hopefully someone has since figured it out...
