    it's just like a dark "bar" at the top 5 pixels. It is stronger at the 3rd down than the 1st and the 5th.

    you may be over amping it or under amping it...

    can you try hooking back up with the regular AC adapter?

    The first time i got my LCD, i wired it into my computer for the power source because i didn't have an AC adapter. Well, i accidently wired it to the 5V+ and the monitor was all jacked up.. like it looked it was the wrong frequency. I caught the error and put it to the other wire and it worked fine. It's most likely ure power input

    yellow on a computer supply is 12+
    red is 5+
    and black is the ground!

    Might be a stupid idea. but could it be heat? I know when I mounted Mine there wasnt very much breathing room and after about 5mins I'd get a 'similar' thing happening. Im asuming that you have tryed the unit unmounted or are trying it this way.
