What's wrong with my screen and how can i fix it?
OK, guys...
I have this 7" screen. I wire it to a DVD player and the top 5 or so pixels are all "warped" The image at the very top seems to "bend" to the left. just like somebody grabbed the top line and pulled it left 3 or 4 pixels, forming an arc back to the normal.
Any ideas?

hook it to another video source and see if it still has the same effect. This will tell you if you have bad monitor or bad video output on DVD player or bad RCAs

if i inplug the video inputs, the screen has a white-ish fade on the top, where the problem has occured. However, there is also a small "fading" on the bottom as well.

This may sound odd, but do you have a magnet nearby? I don't even know if it would affect an LCD display....just a thought.

It is not any kind of interference. I think the problem is within the screen.

where is the power source coming from?
car or ac inside?

AC inside... running from a 12v line off of a 200w PSU

it's 0.7a... could that be a factor?

Could you take a pic? I have a hard time imagining what warped LCD pixels look like. Warped CRT pixels, however I can easily picture.
