    MP3Car Transreflective Wear Marks

    Anyone else have this?

I don't use the stylus or anything of that sort and there are finger wear marks on the commonly used areas of the touchscreen.

A good clean might get rid of them. Maybe you could try using a screen protector to stop it from getting any worse.

Won't a screen protector interfere w/ the TS?

In any case, here's what it looks like (crappy phone pic):

It's only a real bother under direct sunlight as it causes a reflection.

I tried to very carefully, but thoroughly, clean the affected areas using a microfiber cloth with no luck.

many times an anti reflective coating is used, & that can wear off in heavy usage spots... this is a problem with many screens with this treatment, including 4K plus toughbooks & stuff. the best solution is a good anti-reflective screen protector, but I guess it's a little too late at this point.

I'm only assuming that this has that coating that I'm talking about, as it seems characteristic of what your showing... I put a really good $200 Fujitsu touch panel on my display & now I have similar issues... I live with it for now, but eventually will replace it again & then use a screen protector... the anti reflective coating is really delicate, again, even on big dollar equiptment...

just to add, the best screen protectors I've found are 3m Vikuiti, one source I know for them is Fujitsu accessories, they sell them for there tablets, but can be cut down to size... if my memory is any good I think they were a little under $100 for 5 of them in 12.1 size maybe..., probably do 10 7" screens with that though... I haven't searched much other places for this though so there may be better sources or single quantities somewhere..

Well, that is unfortunate to hear.

I guess I'll just have to try and catch the screen protector on my replacement touchscreen panel.

    Oh well...
