Not a clue, and that ad/pic or what ever certainly dosnt help explain who/what they are

But most importantly... why did you put this in the "show off you project" section? This deffinatly doesn't belong here.

Eonon makes screens and touch screens and some other stuff. THey also go by the brand name SUPER (or they make their product for re-branding for them) I had an Eonn touch screen 8", it worked but was quirky. Do some saerching and you might find more. Id be leary though with as many gramatical and spelling errors they made in that image....

Aw -- that's just because they translated it to Engrish.

I realize that, but a reputable company would have the funds to bring in someone capable of doing it right, not just winging it.

I seem to have an Eonon E0294, although mine was SBO E0294 when i bought it. Now the SBO2 website just shows the specs for the Eonon E0294, which looks identical. One difference is the resolution it now says 640x480 "Vista Not Supported!" - that works, but so does 1024x768. The actual resolution is around 800x480.

Anyway, I've had mine in use over a year, got it cheap used on eBay in good condition and it's worked pretty well. The issues I've had are with temperature extremes (shuts down at 50C+ in the sun and touchscreen malfunctions around 5C or under) but has always worked fine in that range 5C ~ 50C. The other issue is the proprietary cable, it starts to disconnect every few weeks and makes the image funky until I re-tighten it. I even taped it together but it doesn't stay tight enough.

On the good side, SBO2 used to say this was designed for automotive use. I've been running it unregulated straight off the car battery for a year now with no problems. I just got a proper power supply though, so I may stop pushing my luck.
