guys!
I installed my in-car pc finally. when the LCD is on, it just shows a bunch of jarble.... so i ran a shorter, direct cable to the computer and it worked fine. I"m guessin the video cable i was using (really crappy cable... 14ft) isn't working out. Actually... it was a ****ty audio cable i had lying around and i thought it'd work.
are RCA cables cheap to buy? And where should i buy them? I also have a s-video input on the LCD and s-video ouput on the computer so i was thinkin i could do that for better quality but i was afraid it'd cost too much (14 ft). should i do that??

Although audio and video cables have the same RCA plugs on them, the cable itself it very different.
Video cable has much more shielding from interference, then the audio cable.
S-Video is the best though.

Parts Express has some inexpensive S-Video cables here. Not sure of the quality, but at $4.25 for a 25-foot cable, it's probably worth the gamble.
