Sounds like the front bezel of the monitor is pressing on the touch panel. If this is not the case, you need a new touch screen panel.
Hey guys, I am at a lost. Spent the last hour reading threads on this issue...but no luck. I am running a Super 7" monitor. Now I am using the original manufaucturer drivers (also tried 4.0.2.1929 or something like that). The touchscreen is recognized, the problem is when I try to do a 4 point calibration.
I get a white screen with a green X at the lower left, and a timer bar. The problem is the green X does not blink. If I touch it with a finger, or stylus, or hold it down I can never get past the solid green X.
If I do a draw test..all I can get is a yellow line at the very bottom of the screen.
I have removed the screen from its case so I am certain it is not anything pressing on the screen.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Okay quick edit. Looking closer at the green X, it blinks from green to red about 2 times. Then the X goes solid green without me ever touching the screen.
The computer is a laptop. Do I need to disable the touchpad built into the laptop?? I tried in device manager, but you can't disable it there.
