With my install all 3 Lilliputs are in very space confined areas..... I have not figured out the setup I will use.... I was thinking of putting a thin fan at the top and the bottom... one will blow air in, the other out, or should I have both blow in? That will be done to the sunvisor screens. The Lilliput in the dash I was thinking of making small airducts on the back were the screens vents are and have a large fan connected that draws air out.... or maybe I should do the same were it draws air in and another fan draws air out... What do you guys think?

I had the same screen and it did the same thing. Seemed to only happen when the screen was cold. after a few minutes, it would work fine. I finially broke it trying to fix the screen. Now I have a xernec and couldn't be happier.

    Update to this..

Have to give some credit for HCCL as they mailed me few days ago and turned out that they would have paid the shipping costs also if I had returned the screen.

Big monitors have much more surface area to disipate the heat.
And much bigger cases which hide the true extent of the temperature to those touching the outside of the box.
Go inside on and you will probably find parts that get as hot as any lilli does.

The quality of the touchscreen overlays in my experience, and many others on here is generally not fantastic. And is a well known issue. Leaving the car parked in direct sunshine on a hot day is also not doing your screen any good as incar temps can easily soar past 100F. Which does nothing for the stability of the adhesives used.

Well known fault on Lilli's. Only known fix is replacement overlay, costs about £40 IIRC from Armen @ digitalww.com

You'd have thought screen would have come on more than they have in the last 4 years!
I think my lilliput is suffering from this problem. Suddenly the right hand side is not working properly. The x coordinate gets registered almost on the center of the screen, the y coordinate gets registered correctly. After calibration, the linearization screen shows "bumps" on the right edge of the screen.
Is this behavior what you were referring as the problem Lilliput tech acknowledged?

yes, and the linearisation will change from time to time to so you need to leave a shortcut to the calibration app on the left hand side of the desktop just incase you need it.

Maybe we should get all the lilli owners who had this fault get together and mention 'Class Action' to Lilliput? Maybe if we get enough people together they will change their minds!

Somewhere on one of my PC's I have an email from Mo @ Lilliput(UK) which acknowledges that there is a production/design problem, he refused me a new free TS though. But he did offer to look at it if I sent it in, I didn't want to do this though as I didn't have another screen to use in the mean time, and at the moment, my current screen isn't that bad - touch wood!
I have had the original supplier replace it twice though.

count me in for whatever you need if you are going to contact lilliput again.
In my case the calibration doesn't help. No matter how many time I run the linearization utility it always leaves a "bump" on the right side.
One thing I noticed is that using your finger works better than using a stylus. It seems the extra surface pressed by the finger helps the screen to determine the correct coordinates. The stylus gives very erratic results.

Received the new panel from China last week. Wasn't the same kind as the old one but size was exactly same and fitted nicely. Uses same drives.
    Came really well packed too.
