    Lilliput connector does not fit

I just got a Lilliput 7" eby-701. The cable that connects it to the PC is two pieces, but it does not connect itself. Here are some pictures to illustrate:

The part that is circled in red is too fat and will not fit into this:

Has anyone else seen this? Should I just file down the plastic I circled in red to make it fit?

I have this same monitor, look closely at each end and you'll see a little arrows. Make sure the arrows are facing each other. This will allow for them to connect together with ease!

Thanks for the reply, but that is not the problem. When I don't have them lined up together, and i try to connect them, the black plastic pieces don't even touch eachother, and I can still see some of the silver connector. When I do line them up correctly with the arrows, the black plastic stops it from going any further. I can physically see the black plastic shroud is wider in diameter than the hole it's trying to go into.

I finally got it working! I took a knife and cut out a little bigger hole and it slid right in. Plugged it into my computer and the found new hardware wizard popped up right away!

It's a simple fix if it doesnt fit. The plastic is very soft and will slice right off with a sharp tool.

That is Awesome! I was just about to tell you to see if you were able to trim a little of the rubber / plastic away. Good job, have fun and come back if you need further help!!!
