there isnt. They all suck to be honest.

Also do you want 1-din or 2-din?

With 2-din you are limited to the DWW-650 (or equivalent branded models).

With 1-din you basically have lilliput and xenarc. Both are good. Xenarc has an auto-switch inputs for like a reverse cam from what I am told. The motor/worm gear in both of them will fail rather soon rendering your $400 to $800 screen useless or permanently ghettoed.

The only way to get it to look clean is to make it look OEM which means a screen molded into your dash so it looks like the car came that way. I have never seen an OEM with a 1din flipout. It just looks cheap. Also when you press it, the screen will wobble or bounce back a bit which to me would be pretty annoying.

So time, a regular screen, some epoxy, bondo, primer, and paint and more time, you will have best results.

you might also want to check the k301 and the k90 (both chinese) my k301 still works fine after 2 years!..(metallic gears instead of plastic that liliputs used to have)

Motorized screens usually stick out a bit, so it definately does not look as neat and stock as a molded screen.

Ive taken apart my k301. Inside, it has metal gears and looks very solid and well built to me. But the opening/closing sequence does not feel as smooth as the new motorized xenarc, or the pioneer/alpines.

Been running an indash for a couple of years, If you want an OEM look forget about it. But sometimes there is little options. I only had a one din slot and did not have fab skills. The indash was a good option, but does not look like it is part of the car from factory.

I got one of these, they are cheapish hong kong screens, but are a manual eject.
one thing is they can swivel, like most screens they are average in high light.

but im pretty happy with mine, it has 1 VGA and 2 video inputs too for cameras as well.

thx, can i see more pics of the screen installed. want to see how much it sticks out of the din slot when closed if at all..

if i may say so, these do look better than the xenarc( that are twice the price) or am I missing something.
