i'm interested. i'm not familiar with the units but will the In-Dash unit still go inside the dash with the touchscreen on?
Thanks
Wykat,
I am with you. I have wanted an in-dash VGA touch LCD for 4 years now! I would order one in a second if the price was under $700.

Not really sure if it even fits in the housing yet. From the looks of the picture... no.
Maybe Armen can comment on this.
I only ever really get a chance to look at the forums when I've got a break at work.. and since I'm running on mac here I don't have any other choices.. and man.. is your site absolutely horrible on a mac!!
Just thought I'd tip you off on that..
How thick are the overlays? I have a 5.6" screen I might buy a touch over lay for if I can fit it in my enclosure. Well I suppose the over all height and width would help too.. Thanks!

Hi Everybody! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!
7" Touch Panel - I will send one monitor to the Touch Panel manufacturer so that their R&D can make a custom panel that will fit perfectly inside the monitor housing (TM-701L), so it should be able to fit like a dream.
7.5" Panel (one of the samples) - it is too big for the housing (TM-701L), I tried. Here are the Dimensions: H 5” (128mm) x W 6 6/8” (172mm); Thickness: 1.1mm
5.8” Panel (other sample) – it should be able to fit in any 5.6” monitor. Here are the Dimensions: H 4 ¼” (108mm) x W 5 7/16” (138mm); Thickness: 1.1mm
ddt I will contact you for payment as soon as the monitors are here (very soon now) as a meter of fact I will post here first before anywhere else, first priority. This time there will be enough for everybody. Hopefully the touch panels can be ready at the same time as the monitors.
VGA Monitors - still looking for a good deal.
ShinkunoNamida – what is exactly horrible with the site? I’ll definitely try to fix it if I can.
Let me know if you guys have any questions.
Armen.
Can I buy the monitor now and the touch kit when it becomes available?
BTW... do you have an ETA on the touch kit that will be an exact fit for these?
Yes, it will have to be separately because I am not sure that the kit will be available at the same time with monitor.Originally posted by ddt

ETA - at least 2 weeks.

I'm using Linux, so I obviously need a touchscreen that works with Linux.
Digitalww?
SOON THERE.
