    Lilliput Image Mirrored

I have an 8" Lilliput touchscreen. It has never been taken apart. I do not have the video connector attached. The power is plugged in. The blue lights come on. The screen also comes on. The text on the screen (VGA MODE, Video 1- etc) is flipped upside down and mirrored. If I connect the video connector to any source (composite, svideo or VGA) it is also flipped and mirrored. I have been through the menu and there is not an option to set flipped/mirrored or anything remotely similar.

Can anyone help me? I'd like to get it back to its old self. Thanks.

Several lilliput monitors have the ability to reverse/flip the image -- for use with a rear backup camera. Look through the manual, there's probably something in there that tells you how to adjust it.

You may have to go into the service menu to do it -- not sure as I don't have a monitor that fully supports the flip/reverse. This thread explains how to do it. Be aware, though, that different things happen for different monitors --- some display dashed lines after entering the code, others display a menu. Post #128 is a 8" screen, and shows the menu -- which hopefully yours will do.

Look for something relating to "X" and "Y" and if found, change the option. Or, look for "Back Car" (may be misspelled) and change that option to see if it fixes it.

Just guesses here, as I've never used that monitor.
