I haven't received a response from him in a few weeks either. I am waiting for a refund as well. He has not answered several emails.

Hi
I've sent back a product for an agreed upon refund to Motor City Technologies five weeks ago, on 11mar08. I Inquired with them on 9apr08 and 15apr08 through ebay but have not gotten a reply.
I certainly hope nothing has happened to Duayn. On ebay he doesn't get nearly as many feedbacks as a few weeks ago.
Anyone know anything?
Can anyone PM me a working phone number for Duayn?
Thanks & regards

I also did not hear back from him in more than a month, so I had to go through the attorney general's office and got an immediate response then. I'm still waiting to see if he will actually come through though...

me neither just bought a screen from him got it in 3 days.
He just doesn't answer emails from people who he owes money.
I too have had issues dealing with Motor City, a faulty Touchscreen, no contact from him for over 4 months now (numerous emails from me).
If you see this Duayn i am one very *****ed off ex customer of yours and will be posting my dealing with you in detail in another thread, so other potential customers of yours can make an educated decision when wishing to deal with you.
Rant over (for the time being).
My tune is changing also, I've had some problems as well (the touchscreen of my transflective upgraded lilliput 841 has never worked, I waited a long time to send it in, so I was ok paying for fixing it, but even after getting it back, "fixed", I can't get it to work, I asked a couple questions related to the matter, and I haven't had a response for close to two weeks now. I will continue to give him the BOD until an unreasonable amount of time has passed. But reading some of these posts has given me a 'not so good' feeling.
Update:
Duayn and I exchanged some emails. Duayn complained that I supposedly misrepresented the facts in the BBB complaint I issued a few weeks ago. He said I should have mentioned that the monitor were purchased "as is". I disagree because once Duayn agreed to the refund with a restocking fee, which he did, there was no way to pedal back and delay or refuse the refund because of "as is".
Duayn confirmed that he has received the item. It took him some time to figure out if it was in fact one his transflective enhanced 629, because the tamper label was not placed on the monitor correcly.
Duayn promised a refund by the end of May 2008, which is overdue by a week now.
As you can imagine, I am annoyed. It's no fun to potentially throw away 500 USD into the claws of a guy who keeps promising but doesn't come through. Please post your own status and help making sure that everyone considering a purchase from Duayn gets the word.
What especially sucks is that I have no buyer protection because I paid by paypal. Had I paid with the credit card, it would have been easy to contest the charge but paypal's buyer protection only runs for 20 days and could just as well be called schemer protection.
Also an update:
I finally got a response from Duayn after going to the Attorney General's office first. They sent an email with my current address to him and me to resolve it. After 2 weeks of nothing from him, I emailed him and asked what was up. He responded saying that he didn't hear anything from me, so he sold the replacement touchscreen to some other customer. Not sure if I believe much that he says anymore, and I first got annoyed, but then just wanted to get this done with. So, I emailed him and paypaled the money to him for the part and for him to send it back. Within a week or so he sent me tracking and the screen arrived a few days later. I have yet to fire it up to test it, but eventually I got this all done and resolved. Thank God!
