I bought a used 7" Lilliput touchscreen monitor. I cant find a model number to post. It has all the buttons along the buttom of the bezel.
Anyways, When the computer starts up there is a Jurrasic Park screen/picture displayed for a short time. Its allmost like a bios screen for the monitor or something.
Is there anyway to remove this? My mb bios and computer never has had any Jurrasic park stuff on it so it has to be comming from the monitor.

Sounds as if you got one of the older lilli's where they used a image to "burn in" the screen.
Actually, there have been two theories as to the jurassic park logo being displayed:
1. Burn in testing as listed above
2. Older lilli's (and sometimes xenarc) screens where made wih used LCD panels sourced from commercial units ranging from game console to something called a "panchiko" game.
I've seen the jurassic logo a couple times before on a couple of the older moitors I've had. If you do a search, you'll find a couple threads with the same issue.
Basically, there's nothing you can do about it as it's "burned" into the lcd...............

Yup, here we go:
Jurassic Park: Xenarc?
Anything like that?

It just goes on forever my friend................note that this is for old screens, not the newer ones. Appears they learned thier lesson................

Yep. Im taking my sweet time. Also funds are making me take my sweet timeI could go cheap way and make a mount for the monitor, but, the factory nav bezel would be alot better....wish it wasnt $190 though. Thats whats going to prolong this the most. Should be another month or so then I can put it in. I could remove my head unit and put monitor there, but I really want to use the FM from the head unit instead from carpc

HAHAHAHA, Im actually working on a new Avatar, which is the icon that will go on my truck. Instead of using the headunit for FM, why not go with a HD Visteon radio that interfaces with the PC. Its so much better, and is not cr@ppy like the USB radios.

Im not sure if that would be a good fm radio solution. Do you have or know anyone with that and how they tie it in with there pc? If I could find an easy fm radio to add to the pc that was reliable and great reception, I would mount the LCD where the factory radio and cd changer is.
