That sounds normal and like what mine does. It will show post, then windows loading or login, then sometimes the desktop or black. Pressing the power button twice fixes it, or the xport sync thing. Can you turn it off and back on to get it to work?

no, turning it on and off has no effect.

I'm thinking something else might be stopping it from waking from hibernation. the orginal reason i got xport was because my GPS mouse was stopping wake from hibernation. ....shame the only way to unplug it to test is to take everything out.

I have this problem too...or a similar one. I found that by delaying the power to the screen for 30 seconds it's fixed. The time may be different for different systms, though.

Ah, you need a different GPS driver. Some here say this one fixed their problems.

    Most models use this.

i reinstalled the old xport over the top of the new one. Everything is working as before now. But if your saying i can stop the gps mouse from preventing hibernation by using diffrent drivers then thats deffinately worth a go. Thats the only real reason i was using xport!

It might be worth trying, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
