    Both monitors have very good LCD panels: TM-701L (not motorized) - Panasonic and DA-7169 (motorized) - Sharp. Here you can see pictures of both monitors in action: TM-701L and DA-7169

    I haven't had any time to try the touch panel with DA-7169, but I should have some time today.

    I couldn't wait and ordered one elsewher (sorry Armen) but add me to the list of satisfied TM-701L owners. Great screen! Now... lets see some touch overlays

    BTW Armen, how did the install of the overlay go? What did you use to attach it to the LCD?

    I am interested in this display but I want to know how many Nits it has? I want to make sure that I can see this display well outside.

    When are the touch Xenarcs going to be in stock? I am ready to shell out the big buck right now but don't know how much longer I will have the $ available

    Couldn't wait for what? the monitors have been available for about a week now...

    TouchScreens should available very soon now. Please bear with me. I still didn't have a chance to take any pictures of the touch kit install (this weekend) but it is working very well.

    The monitor is 280 nits so it should work very good.

    I am waiting for them any day now. Everything slows down on Holidays - all I can do is wait. It shouldn't be to long now.

    Heh, I ordered one 2 or 3 weeks ago though. I'm not a traitor... just impatient. Plus I can actually use a carputer in my line of work. Trust me... it's a hell of a lot easier than driving with a keymap in my lap now!

    It'll be even easier when I get a touch panel.

    In case I didn't mention it before... thanks for having this done. You have done a lot for the scene just by doing this... and selling LCD's that won't break the bank is definatley cool too.

    Having said that I do feel bad for not ordering from you now!

    Let me tell you this. I was driving around in the blazing Texas sun all day today and had the brightness turned all the way down. The only problem I forsee is being too bright at night... but once I angled it away from my face it was all cool.
