Question Lilliput 889GL 8" or New Lilliput 629 7" Led Blacklight

    Hi,

I want to buy my first LCD for my car. I have 2 choice, the Lilliput 889GL 8" have a better resolution (800x480 and a real 16:9 ratio) and the 629 have (800x400 15:9 ratio) but the 629 use the new LCD BlackLight.

What is the best you think for the same price?

    Thank you...

You are wrong, they are both 800x480 (800:480 = 15:9) according to Lilliput: http://www.lilliput.cn/product3_1.html

The MP3 Car store got wrong specifications for 889GL-80NP/C/T

The MP3 Car store claim it has a 16:9 aspect ratio, but Lilliput says it has a 15:9 aspcet ratio: http://www.lilliput.cn/889GL-80NP.html

But even Liliput got it wrong for the 7" 629GL-70NP/C/T on place.
Here they write the correct 15:9 http://www.lilliput.cn/product3_1.html

But here they write the false 16:9 for the same screen: http://www.lilliput.cn/629GL-70NP.html

Both screens are 840x400. If you do a calculation you can see this is a 15:9 ratio if when the pixels are square:
    840/400 * 9 = 15
