Best shot I have of components. There is a main board (shown), a smaller board (shown), and third board -even smaller. The three fit side-by-side behind the screen. The smaller boards are for the inverter and touchscreen.
There is a 4th circuit board, very thin/skinny, - not pictured - for the the buttons and IR sensor.
These next two show the dimensions of the bare screen with touch screen (click to enlarge)
Enjoy..
OK. Thanks for the photos. They sure are a big help.

Useful photos, thanks - I too have the CTF700-SH screen and am looking to remove it from the case and mount it in t a custom double DIN frame for my 2002 Miata.
Does anyone know whether this screen will fit in either of the bybyte LCD frames? (Refer to this and this for details.) I'm trying to come up with a mounting solution that avoids bondo, fabrication, etc, by using off the shelf parts.
Thanks,
MPR.
I attempted using a Metra double din kit for my explorer, but the screen was a little too tall. Now, I'm not sure if my explorer is really a double din (may be more like 1.5)..
I ended up integrating my screen into the dash by attaching the front face of the screen casing (using epoxy and a little modification to my dash opening) and then attaching the screen and components to the back of that. I used a small, thin piece of wood to screw in behind the screen (to the same posts as the back of the case would have screwed into), and then i attached the boards to the back of that (for now, just tape and such... not really going anywhere).
Overall it turned out looking pretty good. I have a little bit of gap on the left/right sides of the dash opening, but it's not bad enough to need fixing IMO.
Good luck!
One more question, how is the lcd panel connected to the main board. Does it use those flat ribbon cables or simple down to earth wiring ?

IIRC...
The monitor has a ribbon for the TS, a ribbon for video, and a 2 or 3 wire ("normal wire") connector for the backlight. Hard to remember though.
There are definitely ribbon connections though...
I got my CTF700-SH a few days ago. Now it's in the car and I must say that I have been blind for the past 2 years that I've owned the 619GL Lilliput. This is like day and night compared to the lilliput screen.
This screen has convinced me that it is thriving when it gets direct sunlight. It never failed so far to be readable in direct sunlight and you all know how sunny it is here in Greece.
Overall it is the best investment that I made for my carpc.
Lets see how long it will last!!
