definitely a good transflective screen, anything else is just going to be a giant glare.
Greetings Forum members,
Just starting out on this carputer venture. I have a 2002 Mustang GT convertible and am wanting to purchase a touchscreen for the dash. I will remove the factory 2din radio/cd changer. As it is a convertible and I only drive it in the summer I want to get the best screen possible. I won't be fixing it in the dash, rather building a bracket to mount the monitor for removal in the winter (in the stock radio location).
My question is, what is the best screen available right now which will give me the best display in direct sunlight?
Your comments are appreciated.

definitely a good transflective screen, anything else is just going to be a giant glare.
Or you could risk it and do a billion enhancements to a regular touchscreen.
If you ask nicely, you can get samples from 3M like I did and make your own transflective.
Definitely cheaper if you're willing to do some dirty work...
if not, no questions asked, you need a transflective.
Thanks Guys. Is Lilliput (sp?) the preferred vendor? I'd like to only have to make this purchase once.
Cheers,
just purchased the Lilliput TR screen from mp3store.com today. Thanks guys.
