Hello. I have been browsing these forums for a couple months now deciding on what I wanted to put into my first carPC.
I received the first wave of equipment yesterday and among this was a new 7" lilliput display. The problem I am having is that it likes to auto-switch to Video 2 on powerup.
In my quest to fix this, I have set PC as the auto-source, I have disabled auto source, I have disabled Video 2. In each case, the display will still auto-switch to Video 2. I disconnected the source cable in hopes that there may have been a short in the Video 2 wire, but the same thing happened.
One wierd thing about this is that when it does switch to Video 2, it shows the "No Input Signal" message for 2-4 seconds before it blanks out and seems to switch back to Video 2 as if it was on another input.
When VGA is default, VGA is selected for a half second when powering up before the display auto-switches to Video 2. Manually changing input does work but I am planning on not having access to these buttons.
Sorry for the long winded post but I wanted to make sure I covered all the bases before starting an RMA. any ideas?
Just wanted to update everyone. I went ahead and posted a tech support ticket on this issue. Also wanted to say I accidentally found a (screen test mode?) where the display will cycle through primary and secondary colors. This was accessed by:
with unit off but plugged into power
hold menu for 2 seconds
let go of menu and power on.
I dont know if this is intentional, a bug, or if it is an indication of a greater issue with my screen.
Update: found a youtube video that almost exactly matches the issue I had. The only difference is my screen would flash PC for 1 second and then cycle on Video @ every 2 seconds or so, the screen in this video flashed much quicker.
Since my last post, the display stopped powering on all together and an RMA has been issued. Can't wait to get my setup working.

Update: Since my last post the unit will not power on at all. An RMA has been issued and I am eagerly awaiting a chance to finish my first car pc.
In the meantime, I found a YouTube video of an issue very similar to mine. The only differences are that my screen would flash on PC for a second before infinitely cycling on Video 2 and my screen waited about 2 seconds before cycling back to Video 2, where the video shows it cycling much faster.

I found a YouTube showing what was going on with my screen and decided to post it because the original issue was so hard to explain. There are slight differences to my issue in this video. My screen flashed PC input for 1 second before infinitely cycling on Video 2, where the screen in the video starts on Video 2. My screen cycled on Video 2 every 2 seconds, where the screen in the video cycles much quicker.
