    700tsv issue, is this fixable???

    Been lurking for a while but now I have a question
    I was wondering if this was fixable or not it is a 700tsv couple years old never been opened.



    Any help will be good everything else works (touch,aux in,vga) except it has vertical lines.

    Strange issue, i have no idea myself, check if your ribbons are properly connected.
    Other than that its probaly your LCD or your controller that's broken.
    If you need a controller, i have a working one for sale.

    Well I guess no on knows, I wonder how much I could get for it if i sold it, anyone know a good asking price?

    A ribbon cable is most likely the cause.
    Check the ones that leave the controller and go into the screen... push those around and youll notice that different patches go on/off.
    Mine's having the same problem and it's ****ing me off.

    As mentioned the most likely cause is the ribbon cable going into the controller.

    If re-seating it doesn't help , then the second most likely reason is the ffc cables that go from the small circuit board on the back of the Lcd into the lcd. There are usually 3 of them along the bottom of the lcd.

    Push them down one at a time with your finger. If the line goes away then you found your problem. Then you will need to find a way to clamp it permanently or glue it down.
