Is it possible to convert a LED display to composite?

I just ordered a LED based reverse system that warns you when your going to back into anything. i was going to convert it to use it on my PC via a mod created by Robby, but ive decided I do not want to wait for the PC to start up before i can use it. Currently my car has a seperate system that uses a Quad Digital Processor to split up to 4 images. Currently I have it set up so that I see rear, left and right. I wanted to also add the reverse system to screen 4, so I can see it also from one screen. Is there a way to convert the LED to a composite signal?

I'm not aware of any product which will suit your needs.

A pretty lame way to do this would be to point a camera on the LED display....lol

LMFAO..... Thats actually a unique idea.... My current rear cam somehow became unwater proof so it fogs up..... Maybe I can create an enclousure for the display.

I do not think this impossible at all. It needs a PIC and some programming skills. There are examples on the Net that provides VGA signal, so I think it is quite easy to produce a VERY SIMPLE composite signal (Of course the number of colors is strongly limited, depending the DAC you use.)

That is another question how the input is provided for the PIC from the LED display...
If you are not a PIC programmer, the previous idea is not bad, The total price of development of a program like that is more than purchase a small, cheap camera with composite output...

The PIC idea would be awsome, but something i dont know how to do.... i think in the end the easiest thing to do is use smaller LEDs and add them to the screen some where on the bezel.
