    LinITX 7" TRANSFLECTIVE Dismantled??

Has anyone taken apart the linitx transflective screen? I'm wondering if i can mount in my dash fairly easily. I assume someone has to have done it by now.

The Linitx's are very similar to the Lilliputs.

The 7" actually uses the same Hitachi Panel as the lilliputs (I assume the transreflective does as well), so if you search for info on the lilliputs it should give the screen size.

I'm not too worried about the screen size i'm more worried about this all in one cable. I'm not even sure if that is going to work. I don't see how that would fit into a vga slot. Maybe i'm missing something obvious.

All in one is the part that is on the Monitor end.

At the PC end you will have a VGS connector, 2 or 3 Video (phonos) connectors and if you have touch screen a USB connector.

There is also I think one barewire which is desigend to go to a reverse light if you use one of the inputs as a reverse camera.

The monitor has a small lead coming out of it which terminates in a multiconnector. You are provided with a 2 or 3m lead which connects to the multiconnector and has the ends I specified above.

    This shows the connector

And this shows you what the package consists of (It's not the transflective but they are basically the same)
