Is the touchscreen going through a USB hub by any chance?
I recently replaced an old Dynamix monitor with a Lilliput 629GL-70NP. The problem I am running into is when resuming from hibernation the touch screen portion does not work at all. My other USB devices (GPS, Keyboard, WiFi etc.) work just fine when resuming from hibernation.
I also though it was weird that I need to reboot Windows XP twice before it recognizes the touchscreen again. If I just reboot it once I still have the same problem where the touch screen does not work. I never had this issue with the Dynamix touch screen. Any idea what the problem could be?
Thanks,
SPECS:

While touchscreen is running check system propeties goto your touchscreen make sure in the power section that the box that says allow computer to cut power(or something like that) to this device to conserve power isn't checked. I had a similar prob and this solved it. It's worth a shot if you hadn't already.![]()
Well one link in the FAQ is directed to Lilliput's website which is down. The other link goes to the manufacturer of touchkit I think. Anyways, when I used the touchkit driver it didn't work at all.
I noticed this before when troubleshooting earlier. I went ahead and unchecked it as you suggested and so far so good! Granted the car has only gone into hibernation mode once but I will check it again on my lunch break and see if its working. Thanks for the tip!
