Yup...very simple...
Jump two of the ATX pins together (you'll have to look this one up yourself...it's covered elsewhere) to trick the M2 into thinking it's attached to a mainboard...
Setup the jumper like you normally would...
Then splice into any of the black (ground) and yellow (12V+) wires...
If you want 5V for a USB hub as well, it's black and red.
Of course, you have to hook it up to your ACC and power wires in the car as well...I power mine off the cig lighter after downgrading the fuse (15A)...I don't smoke

My M2 is connected to a mainboard so tricking it isn't necessary.

Those instructions sound like how to hook up the m2, not the screen. Am I understanding it right? My m2 is already connected and running.

If your PSU has enough available capacity, its as simple as connecting the 12v rails. This is the yellow(+) and black(-) on most PSU's, but use a multimeter to double check if you are unsure.

Do I cut my cigarette lighter cord and use those wires?

I'd rather cut up the AC plug as there's a better chance of me using my cigarette lighter adapter then there is of me using my AC adapter. But either way, just cut it and get access to the two wires in there. Then splice them into the correct wires of a molex connector (see above) that you can buy at any computer store for $1. Then plug into the molex connector from your M2, voila. I did it with my Xenarc.

just FYI... you don't need to use both wires. only the +12v (yellow) wire is necessary. the M2's input and output grounds are the same, so you can wire the monitor's ground wire to any grounded chassis panel.
