I have a dash kit in my Civic with my Xenarc 700TSV. Fits real nice, just had to cut 95% of the screen bezel off and throw it in the trash.
Ok I have a Ford Ranger and was wanting to get a double din dash kit from mp3car or bybyte has anyone done this and or know if this is possible or any other Ideas I might just have to break out the fiberglass and bondo but really like the kit Idea because I might not keep the truck thank you in advance

You might want to make sure the dimensions first. I think the Ford Ranger has a 1.5 din opening. Might be able to fit a double din with some trimming.
I am sure that it is a double din opening what I am unsure of is the screen itself fitting into one of the dash kit (they say there made for a lilli 701 and 629) if I take it all apart will it fit into the double din kit???? and not use the factory bezel of the monitor also does the 700tsv have auto on???? Thank you For all of your help
also Maheriano do you have pictures of your monitor install ??? if so could you post them please ??? Thank You
I have an 02 Mustang, with I believe 1.5 din opening. the 700TSV is JUST, JUST too wide. Maybe 1/8". Its also about 1" too tall. Some creative hacking will allow for a nice fit ;-)
Do u have any pics of your dash?
With a double din kit, what you can do is cut the front facia of the Xenarc and mold it to the double din kit. Then, you can fit it as a double din without any modification to the car's bezel.
Theres a picture to give people an idea of what I believe would be 1.5 DIN.
I have to shave maybe 1/8" off either the bezel or lcd bezel. There is also a 1" x "7"..."hump" right above my trac control & defrost buttons that I will have to remove. Unless I decide to rest the monitor above all of this, which I think may also look alright.
Anyway...there ya go!
Yeah, you should be able to remove material from the top and bottom of the bezel and fit the screen in there.
Okay, here we go. Here's my Xenarc bezel, I cut most of it off and threw it away, otherwise it wouldn't fit in the dash. But it's important for this little bit to be there because otherwise the monitor will fall back into the dash. This little lip makes it just millimeters too big so it doesn't fall in.
In the dash with the plastic still on the screen and without the Ebay bezel.
Laying the $7 Ebay bezel over top.
Test fit with the bezel and plastic still on the screen.
Getting there.....installed except you can see the touchscreen wires at the top.
Action shot......not too bad in the sun for not being sunlight readable.
