Xenarc 700IDT backlight issue..

Hello all,

I had some issues with the 700IDT. Every so often, I've had to change out the ribbon cable due to cable bending fatigue. That is not really that much of a hassle. The new issue I am having is really a pain. My back light seems to be working intermittently, and I've already replaced the inverter board. Anyone know of any other solutions? Any good LED back light options?

Turns out it was a ribbon cable, according to Xenarc. I had replaced that many times before, and this time too, but it still didn't work. Makes me wonder if it was really something else, and someone did me a favor...

Maybe it's the the actual ccfl bulb itself that is starting to go bad?

That's what I thought, but now there is no flickering or anything, and they say they just replaced the ribbon cable. I wonder if they had sent me the wrong one at first or something...
