Plastic Screen infront of LIliput glass

    Hi All,

I recently had to remove my liliput screen from my bybyte DIN kit, and well it tore the plastic film that goes infront of the glass! Is this neccesary to have, or do I need to find a replacement? it sat, in order, outside-in:

    1:Plastic Screen
    2:TouchScreen Glass
    3:Lcd Screen

Does anyone know if I actually need that plastic?

    Thanks!
    Jon

I believe that plastic is the top layer of your TS. Although you may not NEED it, I think it would be wise to buy a new TS overlay.

Are you sure this isn't just the plastic they use to prevent scratches during shipping that you are supposed to peel off when you use it....?

i guess you'll know when weird things start occurring. But to answer your question - i wouldn't know. I own a touchscreen and i didn't notice a thin plastic sheet?
