I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me get this right now... Updates soon...
looks very promising - my eee box doesn't have a secondary vga or svideo output, so i don't have any option how to connect secondary screen for rear seats
if it really can play smoothly video up to its full native resolution, it would be great!
please describe your experiences as soon as you can!

Got it today.
It works and I like it.
Works as a secondary monitor and as the primary too.
Correct 800x480 aspect ratio.
Eats about 1-2% CPU on my Atom dual core.
About 60% on one of the cores when playing a 720x540 avi file in full screen. (about 10% goes to avi decoder I think).
Screen looks good. Touchscreen is responsive.
No picture when booting (of course).

Wondering how it is in the sun - let us know![]()
touchscreen powered and connected completely from USB and it has a webcam. It would be cool to setup the webcam to transmit the image on a website that you could watch or record especially if your vehicle was stolen.
I don't have any good pics to post yet..
(attaching a not very good pic)
The screen is bright and seems to be similar to Lilli 629 in visibility (if not better). Not glossy.
Brightness controls (touch sensors) are on the front bezel.
In addition to the webcam it has audio and mic. And audio out (passthrough).
First negative - it added about 1 min to my boot time.. It used to be less than a minute, now it's close to 2 min.
How does it look in sunlight?
