Can composite input be selected by hw?

I have a CID 650 that has an input to select AV2 input. Set the input to 12V and the rearview camera is enabled.

I have tried to find out if it's the same with lilliput and xenarc panels without success.

Thing is I've designed a box to control the LCD panel inputs among other things and I would like to know if my box can be used with those panels, or if I can modify it to do that.

It seems like both Lilliput and Xenarc will switch in rearview camera when signal is present.

But the Lilliput require some sort of configuration first to achieve this.

Am I correct, or have you got more info? Maybe you know how to configure the Lilliput? (I have not been able to find that out)

    Colorado, but Canadian!
Xenarc has the ability out of the box.

Lilliput requires a soft-hack to the firmware through button combination on the remote.

    But yes both will work
