    Vga LCD screens... help needed

    Hi guys


    Well I've been trawling though the wealth of info on the site and I'm needing some help.

    Ideally I would like a 7" widescreen TFT with vga input.. but i can't for the life of me find a UK supplier..

    My set up has the s-video option and I can get a screen quite cheap - and I would assume I could make the display widescreen with powerstrip (?)

    But I am worried about the sharpness of the display, small screen and small text on a fussy screen isn't good.

    Does anyone know of a 7" Vga screen supplier for the uk? Or one that will ship to the uk at least or should I just go for the cheaper and more readily avalible ntsc tft screens here in the uk?

    To be honest I got a bit lost readin them....

    ideally what I want is something like this



    Bascially just an off the shelf plug and play type of thing... I'm not very knowledgeable about the TFT screens and their construction so I don't want anything to complex..

    What I want to be able to do is plug in straight into the back of the laptop which I am going to use...

    Where abouts in scotland are ya?

    Can you wait a few more weeks? I'll have the same screens at a much better price. Are YOU interested in the touchscreen version? Just checking,

    You keep saying that over and over again, but you never post any prices or part numbers.

    Quite frankly, its rather annoying. If you don't have product to ship today, you don't have anything.

    Yeah I can wait a few weeks - am only in my planning stage just now....I'm not fussed if its touchscreen or not - touchscreen would be a bonus of course - but all comes down to the price - AND if you can ship to the uk.
