    Possible to modify laptop lcd?

    I have a LCD screen from an old HP laptop, is it possible to modify it, so I can connect it to a dvd-player?

    Most laptops use LVDS to connect to a specific video output chip from the laptop. It's not impossible to do, but it is probably more expensive than buying a screen.
