Display drivers for VM70 (not touchscreen drivers)

    hi..
i am having trouble getting the 800x480 resolution on the VM70 7" touch LCD which i purchased from short-circuit.com...

when i go to device manager in windows XP, it shows the monitor as a defualt monitor" and a plug and play monitor"

DOES ANY ONE HAVE THE MONITOR DRIVERS for this monitor?

i only have the touch screen drivers..(works well !)

if someone can tell me how to get the display drivers, i would be happy!

(ultimately, i am trying to get this monitor to run at 800x480)

The resolutions that are displayed are largely controlled by the video chipset.
There are many video chipsets that are incapable of outputting 800x480, including the Via Unichrome series, the video chipset used ont he populat EPIA line of motherboards.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.
