    Laptop LCD resizing

I have a laptop with a max resolution of 800*600 .. I can change it to 1024*768 but the desktop wont fit the screen, you have to move the mouse to "scroll" to different portions of the screen. Would something like powerstrip be able to fix this or am I stuck at 800*600.. anyone have some ideas? I tried powerstrip but had no luck.. probobly didn't configure it correctly if anything.

Well its a Gateway solo 3150 aka fireant. There really isn't any other drivers besides the ms one. It says the max resolutions is 800x600 but it seems like there should be a way to get higher. The screen is so small to get work done at 800x600.
