mount the lcd in/in front of the heat vent, and crank it up

yup...there should be many vents near your setup...just 'hack' one and point the flow at your lcd...

one odd thing, make sure the lcd is sealed to the front glass (bezel, whatever protects the screen if anything) or else the airflow will put dust between the lcd and the protective glass.

The 5" "automotive" LCD i have ive never experienced any problems with with the nice cold winter weather in chicago, but i really dont spend all that much time looking at it.

cool alright... that's what i was thinking... just make sure it's over a vent or something... Meaning the panel might be a bit slow for a few minutes...

    Thanks
