    handheld computer display

has anyone tried to use one of these for a display or as an additional display ? They are listed as a 640 x 240 resolution and I am wondering if they could be used. It would fit in a din opening and is backlit color - some are touch enabled....

also are available cheap on ebay.

    just seemed like a possibility.

I would like to use one as an additional display for windows CE applications and hook the sync cable to my existing in-car computer (running xp) . Are there any cool win CE apps ?

they are going for around 35-50 bucks. they are vga displays and there has to be a way to either use the display or the entire unit for what we are doing. They are all pen operated (touch screen) and backlit color.

Here's a link for the rest of us:

They are PDA's. People have written remote conrtol programs for them [at least for the PalmOS, I don't know about WinCE], so maybe you could use that with an IrMan or something.
