Hi to the mp3Car community - I've been working on my car PC project for some time now and i'm looking to get a new screen. the thing is, i always like to know a bit about a manufacturer before i buy, especially with monitors.
Here's my dilemma - who actually manufactures Linitx/carTFT/Phylon/ESAW monitors? They have all been 'rebadged' to appear as though they each manufacture their own, but a closer look at the pictures and it's clear they come from the same, OEM factory... at least with Lilliput/Xenarc you know who is making it and are both very unique in their design and shape. Take a look at these pics:

What's also interesting to note, is that all of these brands of monitor have very similar serial numbers, warranty seals look exactly the same and are in the same place, there are no differences between the shape of the mould, and of course the button shape and positioning is very often the same.
hope someone can help me out here - before i buy i always like to know WHO is making the goods. thanks!
Carl
