    you can use the video game jockey by startech although there is significant signal loss on the vga passthrough. with sunlight readability being an issue, i could not put up with any amount of signal loss reducing the brightness of my screen.

    after talking to mitchjs i got on of these and it works great except that wiring a relay to the switch was a challenge because you have to get a 6 pole relay and solder wires to 15 points on the switch. in hindsight it probably would have been better to get this one. now i just use the video game jockey as a composite to vga converter. very happy with the results.
